This dimensional standard applies to pajamas for wear by men. It has been developed for use in procurement of pajamas for patients in hospitals and institutions. A maximum residual shrinkage of 2% has been recognized in specifying the dimensions with the exception of the elastic waist dimensions in Table 2 where shrinkage in excess of 2% has been recognized.
